Brixham Events in 2026
As we look forward to a busy summer here at Churston Way Lodge, here's a preview of the major events happening in Brixham in the summer and autumn 2026.
Brixham Pirate Festival
Brixham will once again be full of brigands for the annual Brixham Pirate Festival. The event takes place on the early May Bank Holiday weekend – from Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th May 2026. You’ll find bands on the Main Stage, activities in the Children’s area and more entertainment at the Children and Family Stage next to the marina. There’ll also be a pirate street party and games on Middle Street, fire eaters, stilt walkers and busking musicians, food and drink vendors and stalls.

The festival is free for all to attend and funded by sponsors and donations from the public as a non-profit making event.

Torbay Steam Fair
Come and view the wonderful working steam engines, vintage and classic cars, lorries, military displays, market stalls and so much more. The Torbay Steam Fair takes place over 3 days between 31st July - 2nd August 2026 on the A3022 just outside Brixham.

Dartmouth Regatta
The 181st Official Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta will take place in 2026. The Family Fun Weekend will be from Saturday 22nd through to Sunday 23rd August 2026. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Wednesday 26th August 2026 and the Regatta itself will be from Thursday 27th August to Saturday 29th August 2026.
It's based around a programme of rowing and sailing events, but also incorporates a busy programme of activities including air displays, fireworks, a large fair, and many other smaller events that happen in and around the town centre.

Brixham will celebrate its Christmas Lights switch on over Friday 20th – Saturday 21st November 2026 with a 'Lanterns, Lights and 'luminations' parade on Saturday 21st November 2026.
