Exploring the harbour

Think you know Brixham? Why not explore some of the lesser well known parts of town?

Angelina and I might be lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, but we’re often too busy at the guest house to truly appreciate our marvellous little harbour town.

Recently, I’ve made a point of exploring parts of Brixham that I’ve not seen before when I’ve had the odd hour to spare.

There are many winding side streets high above the harbour bowl that have spectacular views of the harbour and the bay itself. They’re well worth exploring if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the harbour itself.

Of course, this being Brixham, you’ll have to be happy to tackle a steep hill or two! Or why not wander up one of the many sets of steps that you’ll find leading away from the harbour.
